DO SON Solid Perfume
Yves Coueslant, one of the House's founders, spent his childhood summers in Do Son, on Ha Long Bay. The sea breeze carried with it the intoxicating and spicy scent of tuberoses. Do Son has the delicacy and persistence of a childhood memory spent in Indochina. A floral memory, between lightness and voluptuousness.
This Geste de Parfum is a perfumed gesture inspired by the solid perfumes popular in antiquity and the enfleurage technique used in the past to capture the fragrant essence of flowers. Its alcohol-free wax is a perfumed balm that is applied with the fingertips to reveal all the voluptuousness and floral delicacy of the Do Son tuberoses.
In its new colorfully illustrated case, this solid perfume is now also refillable, to be used anywhere while respecting the environment.
For a greater diffusion, apply the solid perfume to the points where the body emits the most heat: on the inside of the wrists and in the crook of the arm at the elbow, at the base of the neck, at the roots of the hair, and in the hollow area of the décolleté. Once the fragrance is exhausted, insert a solid perfume refill into the case.
Frequently Asked Questions
The different concentrations indicate the percentage of fragrant oils present in the fragrance. In general, Extrait de Parfum is the most intense and long-lasting version, followed by Eau de Parfum and Eau de Toilette, which is lighter and fresher.
The longevity of a fragrance depends on the perfume's concentration, olfactory composition, and skin type. On average, an Eau de Parfum can last from 6 to 8 hours, while an Extrait de Parfum can last even longer.
To preserve its quality, it is advisable to store perfume away from direct light, heat sources, and temperature fluctuations. The ideal place is cool, dry, and protected from light.
Many contemporary fragrances are designed to be worn freely by anyone. In artistic perfumery, compositions do not follow rigid gender categories but are designed to adapt to the personality and skin of the wearer.
