BAL D'AFRIQUE Absolu de Parfum
Inspired by his connection to Africa, particularly through his father's travels and years spent there, Ben Gorham conceived Bal d’Afrique as both an imaginary journey and a celebration of Africa's profound cultural impact on dance, art, and music. This reinterpretation elevates the contrast between Bal d’Afrique's vibrant lightness and irresistible depth, intensifying its gourmand characteristics for a richer, more overwhelming experience. Notes of bergamot, lemon, and blackcurrant release a vibrant intensity that blends with the sweetness of praline, musk, and violet, before finishing on a powerful base of cedarwood, vetiver, and warm black amber. In addition to the fragrance, the new Absolu de Parfum bottle is also a tribute to craftsmanship. The tactile cap is inspired by Yakisugi (the Japanese art of wood charring) and reflects the essence of Absolu, characterized by deep intensity, transformation, and lasting strength. With its golden and silver industrial design, the atomizer complements the simple design and clean curves of the glass bottle. Inside the bottle, the intense hue of Absolu de Parfum offers a visual clue to the rich concentration of the fragrance.

To preserve its quality, it is advisable to store perfume away from direct light, heat sources, and temperature fluctuations. The ideal place is cool, dry, and protected from light.
Many contemporary fragrances are designed to be worn freely by anyone. In artistic perfumery, compositions do not follow rigid gender categories but are designed to adapt to the personality and skin of the wearer.
