This fragrance is inspired by the Nile in Egypt, whose source remains a mystery. The cradle of civilization, it is the source of fertile land where we find an abundance of fruit trees and flower fields. The bee, a royal symbol of ancient Egypt, was born for the pharaohs from the tears of the sun god Ra. Its honey was a drink for newlyweds, hence the expression "honeymoon". Honey was also widely used in pharmacopoeia and embalming rituals. Secret du Nil is a fragrance that is both gourmand and floral with citrus notes such as bergamot, orange blossom, and neroli, and oriental notes of almond, vanilla, and musks. Deliciously seductive and enveloping, Secret du Nil warms the soul to savor its days.

Top notes: bergamot, bitter orange, bitter almond Heart notes: orange, neroli, toasted almond, honey Base notes: vanilla, powdered sugar, cedar, musks Perfumer: Sidonie Lancesseur, Robertet

Frequently Asked Questions

Discover how to choose, use, and best preserve a fragrance. Here you'll find the answers to the most common questions about the world of artistic perfumery.

The different concentrations indicate the percentage of fragrant oils present in the fragrance. In general, Extrait de Parfum is the most intense and long-lasting version, followed by Eau de Parfum and Eau de Toilette, which is lighter and fresher.

The longevity of a fragrance depends on the perfume's concentration, olfactory composition, and skin type. On average, an Eau de Parfum can last from 6 to 8 hours, while an Extrait de Parfum can last even longer.

To preserve its quality, it is advisable to store perfume away from direct light, heat sources, and temperature fluctuations. The ideal place is cool, dry, and protected from light.

Many contemporary fragrances are designed to be worn freely by anyone. In artistic perfumery, compositions do not follow rigid gender categories but are designed to adapt to the personality and skin of the wearer.
