Outlands by Cécile Zarokian
The boundaries of imagination. Unexplored mysteries. A dance with the unknown.
Outlands is an invitation to a journey into the afterlife. The opening note of the composition is unexpectedly light-hearted: an invigorating range of lively citrus, emphasized by a tart lemon. However, as the journey progresses, the landscape becomes more remote and extraordinary. A rich and multifaceted patchouli, exuding warmth, humidity, and green in equal measure, urges the intrepid traveler deeper into this enigmatic landscape. Finally, an amber accord, vibrating with the power of balms and resins, invites a progression towards the ultimate encounter, where we find ourselves reflected and regenerated.
As indescribable as it is familiar, Outlands harnesses extraordinary contrasts between light and shadow to capture the inevitable and shifting inevitability of the future.
